Department Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Division of Business and Professional Studies is to provide a liberal arts education in the areas of Business and Public Administration that will prepare students for the world of work upon graduation or to continue their studies in graduate or professional school. Students who pursue majors in the Department acquire an in-depth knowledge of their discipline and are also required to successfully complete a series of courses designed to develop and strengthen their analytical, cognitive, oral and writing skills, as well as an awareness of and commitment to values. The Division offers the following majors:

Business Administration with a Concentration in:

Accounting

Management

Public Administration

Students majoring in Business Administration or Public Administration are required to successfully complete the university core requirements as well as the required courses listed below:
