Accreditation
The Shaw University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award the associate, bachelor, and masters degrees. The Social Work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
The Teacher Education program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation- CAEP (formerly NCATE), and is approved by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
