ENG 216 American Literature POST-1865 (3)

This course covers a variety of works in prose, poetry and drama, and literary movements in American literature from its post - 1865 with an emphasis on the historical, cultural and social context of the works through analysis and research. Students should be able to critically analyze and interpret literary works within their contexts.
