NTS 502 - Theories and Practice of New Testament Exegesis (3)

Prerequisite: NTS 501
The aim of this course is to build interpretative skills. In addition to learning and applying critical methods to various texts, students also examine the philosophical and theological presuppositions of the methods. Students will also consider issues relating to the interpretation of the text, such as the canonical process, the authority of the text and the relationship of the Old Testament to the New.
