BIB 500 - Survey of the Bible (3)

Students will examine the Bible in light of its origins in ancient Israel and the Early Church. At the end of this course, students will have a basic awareness of the backgrounds of the Old and New Testaments - cultural, literary, and historical. In addition to understanding the background of ancient Israel and the Early Church, students will learn the structure, themes, and significant interpretive issues of the books of the Bible.
