MIC 511 - Health Disparities and the Black Church (3)

This course prepares students to provide leadership in the development of comprehensive ministries of health and healing as a strategy for addressing the poor health outcomes of African Americans and other racial ethnic minorities. The role of research along with the benefits and challenges of engaging in collaborative partnerships between the faith and health communities is also explored.
