MAT 360 Teaching Mathematics with Technology (3) This course is designed for college students in the Mathematics Education Program. This course prepares teacher candidates in the appropriate use of mathematical tools and manipulatives, appropriate use of technology (e.g. graphing calculators, computer algebra systems, dynamic drawing tools, spreadsheets, or statistical graphing software) to explore algebraic, geometric and data analysis concepts. Students learn how to use various technology software and hardware, choose the appropriate technology software to teach various mathematical concepts, the ethical use of technology in the high school environment, and how to develop, deliver, and teach mathematical content, using technology.
