SOC 450 Sociological Theory (3) Prerequisites: SOC 211 , SOC 344 , and six more semester hours in sociology An introduction to theoretical explanations in regard to why social things are as they are in human society in the sense that how this society is held together. In this context, the different patterns of social behavior and group interaction are the focus. The contributions of major sociologists as founders of or contributors to this discipline are taught.
