BIB 510 - Biblical Exegesis (3)

Prerequisite: BIB 500
Students will learn to interpret the Bible in light of the different types of literature (genres) found in the text, their characteristics, and the distinctive interpretive approaches appropriate to each. While introducing students to the basic methods of biblical exegesis, this course will focus on increasing skill in interpretation in light of our Christian heritage.
