BIB 520 - Advanced Exegesis and Hermeneutics (3)

Prerequisite: BIB 510 
Students will examine the historical development and theoretical underpinnings of various theories of interpretation of the Bible. In addition to historical-critical approaches, students will examine grammatical-historical and post-modern approaches.
