Elementary Education, BA


The Elementary Education Major is for students who wish to pursue a degree in teacher education at the elementary level. Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in all professional area courses; as well as the core English and Math Courses ENG 110 , ENG 111 , ENG 112 , and  MAT 120 , MAT 121 . The curriculum provides an understanding of child development, intellectual development, and issues related to elementary education. Students develop skills needed to instruct children in kindergarten through grade six.
